With new tyres, just let us know the tyre size at the time of booking. You can find this by looking at the measurements on your tyre’s sidewall, or drop in and we will find the details for you.
Wheel Balancing
We will ensure the weight of your wheels are distributed evenly, and if necessary, add small weights. If this isn’t done, vibration can often be felt when travelling at high speeds in the steering wheel and/or the seat. This can cause your tyres to wear prematurely which also affects your shock absorbers, struts and steering.
Wheel Alignment
Wheel alignment aligns your vehicles steering and suspension angles to ensure the wheels are perpendicular to the ground and parallel to each other. If your wheels aren’t properly aligned, you can experience problems with your vehicle’s handling, performance and the overall safety of the vehicle, or encounter excessive tyre wear and steering problems.
